Wichita, Kansas | 2009-08-21 Government, Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton written by: Kristin Wemmer
We’ve made excuses for her. When will we say it’s time for her to… shut up? I know who my readership is. I have a hunch about the way a lot of people feel about Hilary and her husband. I also understand that I’m tired of hearing about her outbursts on the news. That being said, aren’t there more important things to worry about?
I want your opinion on this.
I want to know how Wichita feels about Hilary.
Is she a sensation? Is she someone we should listen to and be proud of? I have a hard time justifying her latest actions by saying that she’s “just tired” and she’s “jet-lagged” and that’s why she feels it’s okay to snap at a student (whether she was misunderstood or not) who, asking a question, essentially just wants the answer to that question- and whether it involves her husband or not is irrelevant in my mind. So the interpreter misunderstood. Even if they hadn’t- would that be a good enough excuse to lash out like she did?
Am I alone?
Let me know, Wichita.
Like I said before, I understand that Wichita is a diverse group of people, and I respect everyone’s opinion, but this time I’m calling out. What do you think? E-mail me at kristinkae09@yahoo.com. I’ll print your (appropriate) thoughts next week. Honest.
